Yes, it’s true. Deadpool 2 took in $125 million in its opening box office. While it’s not a record, the Deadpool franchise now sits at the number one and number two slots for largest opening weekends for R-rated films.
Vancouver is all over this one (as it was two years ago in Deadpool). Hollywood North shines bold and bright. I took these videos and pictures back in June and August of last year.
Ryan Reynolds embodies Deadpool. Once you get past the first half of the film, the payoff is worth it. The breakneck pace can be too much at first but once the X-Force recruitment drive takes place, Deadpool 2 delivers and rewards to the very end. Josh Brolin, once again, plays the perfect part in Cable (as he did with Thanos). Deadpool 2 runs a spot-on two hours in length.
