It was an absolute pleasure having Monowhales be the first IN STUDIO interview I’ve done since the pandemic hit! Sally, Zach and Jordan came in ahead of their show tonight (May 4) at the Jack Singer in Calgary. We chatted about their new track CTRL (the message behind it and the connection it draws to Sally’s Syrian origin), finding a wasp nest in their tour van, a motto they say together before every show and Star Wars day (among other stuff.)
