X92.9 turns 20 on January 1, and to help celebrate two decades of X92.9, we’re launching The Big Xperiment, a chance for our most loyal, dedicated, creative and completely unhinged listeners to show us just how much X92.9 means to them.
WE WANT YOU TO SHOW US YOUR X.
What does that mean? Whatever you can come up with!
Make a giant X. Paint an X. Build an X. Wear an X. Turn your car into an X. Fly an X-shaped flag. Put on a performance. Get your friends involved. Get your neighbors involved. Get your dog involved. Get weird with it.
Basically, if you can find a way to make it an X, we want to see it.
Starting September 21, tag us on Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok with your creation. The more creative, ridiculous, unexpected, and unmistakenly X92.9 your submission is, the better. We’ll select our favorites and put them up for a community vote, with the winning X taking home $5,000.
And because this is a 20th birthday celebration, $5,000 won’t be the only thing up for grabs. As The Big Xperiment rolls on, we’ll be adding more prizes to the mix, so there will be even more reasons to get creative and show us your X.
The winner will be announced November 9.
For 20 years, X92.9 has been Calgary’s place for music discovery, huge concerts and unforgettable moments. Now, as we gear up to celebrate two decades, we want to put the spotlight on the people who have been listening, supporting us and making this station what it is.
