Bring a little Christmas cheer, enjoy a pancake breakfast and help make the holidays brighter for local families.
The holiday season is all about giving, and one of Red Deer’s favorite Christmas traditions is back for another year.
The 11th Annual Christmas Wish Breakfast takes place Sunday, November 15, at the Red Deer Resort & Casino, bringing families, volunteers, local businesses, community organizations, firefighters and sponsors together for a morning built around one simple idea: Families Helping Families.
Since its humble beginnings in 2016, the Christmas Wish Breakfast has grown into a beloved Central Alberta tradition. Over its first ten years, the event collected toys, cash and other support worth more than $300,000, helping bring some extra Christmas magic to local children and families.
Now, it’s time to keep that generosity going.
How to Get Involved
Bring a new, unwrapped gift, an infant item, a teen gift, a gift card or a monetary donation. All gifts are appreciated, but please leave the stuffed animals at home.
In return, guests can enjoy a complimentary hot buffet breakfast, including pancakes, along with Christmas entertainment, special guests, a visit from Santa, raffle prizes and a 50/50 draw.
Guests are also encouraged to bring a non-perishable food donation for the Food Bank. Let’s fill the fire truck and help make the season a little brighter for even more Central Alberta families.
